I've helped create dozens of corporate films. These are just a few.

MD Anderson and IBM's Watson are changing global cancer care. Here's how:

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is the largest cancer hospital in the world. With more than 100,000 patients cared for each year, the center has attained a huge knowledge base about virtually every type of cancer. The only problem was, patients had to receive care in Houston to take advantage of that knowledge base.

But the center's mission is to eliminate cancer throughout Texas, the United States, and the world. So now MD Anderson is extending its expertise around the globe with the help of IBM’s Watson supercomputer. How MD Anderson is doing that is a fairly complex story. We tell it in just a few minutes.

Boeing "Stories of Innovation" Videos

People the world over know that Boeing makes airplanes. In fact, in some parts of the globe, the word for jetliner is “Boeing.” What many people don’t know is that Boeing is also on the cutting edge of a huge number of other advanced technologies.

Successful brands are built on values a company genuinely stands for. Innovation is at the center of the Boeing culture. I was asked to help tell that story with about 25 brief films.

My primary responsibilities were to study the technologies, come up with interview questions, then boil lengthy interviews—typically an hour or so—down to coherent two-minute narratives.

Here are five of the films. Four have been viewed more than a million times on YouTube alone.

X-51A WaveRider Scramjet

AH-64 Apache Helicopter

X-48B Blended Wing Body

QF-16 Unmanned Moving Target

EA-18G Growler

Puget Sound Blood Center Recruitment Video

Puget Sound Blood Center is one of the world's largest and most successful blood centers. But since stored blood is perishable if not used within a certain number of days, the center is always recruiting donors and volunteers. We created this low-budget film to set the tone at recruitment drives. When I look at it now, it seems a little long. It does have a nice feel, however, and if you're looking for a lift, it's worth a look.
